The Wikipedia page on Maoism contained phrases he had never heard before, words he had not once been exposed to in his thirty-five years of American life. He scrolled upward on his phone to look at the title of the article: вЂњMaoism.вЂќ The eye movement and the angle of his neck loosened his thoughts. Shifting his focus away from the article, across the phoneвЂ™s top edge, he settled his gaze onto the shadowy ceiling.
